'Jumanji': Dwayne Johnson dice que el 'remake' será un homenaje a Robin Williams

El filme que dirige Jake Kasdan se estrena el 18 de agosto de 2017, y todo apunta a que también contará con la participación de Kevin Hart.

El 'remake' de Jumanji sigue tomando forma, y poco a poco vamos conociendo nuevos detalles sobre este proyecto. La película original contaba con el honroso precedente de tener como protagonista a un cómico de la talla de Robin Williams, fallecido hace dos años, y ahora Dwayne Johnson, designado para protagonizar este nuevo filme, ha asegurado que éste honrará la memoria del actor.

Según recoge Collider, el actor ha realizado una publicación en Instagram declarando lo mucho que respeta a Williams, así como su intención de que este 'remake' que produce Sony sea un homenaje a Alan Parrish, personaje que el recordado cómico interpretara en el filme original de 1995. "El amor y el respeto que siento por este hombre es ilimitado, y tenéis mi palabra de que honraremos su nombre", afirma Johnson en este post, que puedes leer completo bajo estas líneas.

I have an idea of what to do and I think his family will be proud. I also think Robin is somewhere lookin' down and laughing, remembering the first time we met backstage and I (for the first time ever) was a star struck bumbling idiot that couldn't even get my words out. Idiot. He literally calmed me down w/ that smile and laugh. But that's for another fun story down the road. We got a great team assembled already over at our home base of SONY and now we build from here. Here's another fun part... in the original movie there were three big roles. In our new story there's now FIVE. Been so damn cool to see all my actor buddies push their projects aside so hopefully they can come play in our world. Jake Kasdan (Sex Tape. Algo pasa en la nube) ya ha sido confirmado para dirigir esta nueva versión de la película de Joe Johnston. En el reparto, sólo contamos con el nombre de Dwayne Johnson como definitivo, pero se espera que Kevin Hart acabe uniéndose en él, repitiendo ambos como protagonistas tras Un espía y medio -estreno el próximo 8 de julio. Por su parte, Kasdan ya ha anunciado que este filme contará con hasta cinco protagonistas, y que muy pronto dará a conocer las decisiones finales de casting. Jumanji tiene previsto el estreno para el próximo 18 de agosto de 2017, y mientras vamos sabiendo nuevos datos sobre ella puedes disfrutar del tráiler de Un espía y medio.
